Breadcrumb Content Policy

Last Updated: November 2020

Breadcrumb is run and populated by you, the Breadcrumb users.

Breadcrumb is a platform for sharing honest experiences while renting. Above all, Breadcrumb should have an expectation of respect and safety, so please respect the privacy and safety of others. Below the rules governing the community are the platform-wide rules that apply to everyone on Breadcrumb.

Definitions

Harassment, bullying and threats of violence. Menacing someone, directing abuse at a person or group or encouraging others to do any of these actions, or otherwise behaving in a way that would discourage a reasonable person from participating on Breadcrumb crosses the line.

Identity or Vulnerability. Marginalized or vulnerable groups include, but are not limited to, groups based on their actual and perceived race, color, religion, national origin, ethnicity, immigration status, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, pregnancy, or disability.

Impersonate. Breadcrumb does not allow content that impersonates individuals or entities in a misleading or deceptive manner. This not only includes using a Breadcrumb account to impersonate someone, but also encompasses manipulated content presented to mislead, or falsely attributed to an individual or entity.

Spamming is generally defined as repeated, unwanted, and/or unsolicited actions, whether automated or manual, that negatively affect Breadcrumb users, Breadcrumb communities, and/or Breadcrumb itself.

rules

Rule 1 - Breadcrumb is for authentic and real accounts of your past apartments, not for attacking marginalized or vulnerable groups of people. Everyone has a right to use Breadcrumb free of harassment, bullying, and threats of violence. Users that incite violence or that promote hate based on identity or vulnerability will be banned.

Rule 2 - Abide by community rules. Post authentic content and do not engage in content manipulation (including spamming or subscriber fraud) or otherwise interfere with or disrupt the Breadcrumb community. Spam is a violation of the Breadcrumb User Agreement and Content Policy, punishable by content removal and account suspension or termination. As spam-like behaviors evolve, Breadcrumb will continue to adjust how we mitigate and prevent the spread of spam content. If you detect spam or spam-like behavior, please contact us at support@hibreacrumb.com

Rule 3 - Respect the privacy of others. Instigating harassment, for example by revealing someone’s personal or confidential information, is not allowed.
